Chinese Summer Program

This Summer Camp Program is a pilot program in promoting Chinese language learning and Chinese culture. The program is in the collaboration of the LARC (larcnet.sdsu.edu) and the Confucius Institute at San Diego State University (confucius.sdsu.edu).

The program is from August 4th - August 6th, 2009 and will be held each Tuesday - Thursday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM on the San Diego State campus. This program is open to all students in grades 3 - 5 and ages 6 - 11 regardless of Chinese fluency or nationality.

There are no fees for participation, although students' families must arrange for their transportation to SDSU.

The unique feature of the program consists of low teacher-to-student ratios and opportunities to interact with nearby Chinese communities for cultural enrichment.
